Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 94 === The multiple antenna technologies are being considered as a possible solution to provide high date rate over wireless communications. In this thesis, a statistical discrete-time model is considered for the future high-throughput wireless local area network (WLAN) that uses multiple antennas at both the transmitter and receiver sides. This multiple input multiple output (MIMO) channel model is mainly introduced by the WLAN high-throughput working group, and is commonly called the TGn channel model. Unlike the single input single output (SISO) model, the TGn channel model is characterized by its spatial correlation matrix. Monte Carlo simulations are used to verify the statistics of the TGn MIMO channel, including the spatial correlations of the channel coefficients and channel capacity. Bit error rate comparisons of several MIMO detectors under the TGn channel model are also given.
