Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理所 === 94 === As information technology thrives and is widely applied nowadays, the industrial world has received its tremendous impact; for hospitals and clinics, information technology has been assisting in the operations of either administrative or medicine-related aspect following the implementation of the technology itself and the policy change of the National Health Insurance Program. As an important group of staff in hospital’s human resource, nurses have already applied information technology in their professional nursing operation such as mobile nursing station. In addition, whether nurses possess high competency in their profession is one of the critical factors to provide excellent medical quality and service efficiency, and to use internet technology while learning is a key point to develop a society of lifelong learning. Meanwhile, “to integrate information technology into teaching” is a major future development for hospitals and clinics, and the assessment of how such integration works is indispensable. It is already the trend to apply internet technology in the medical environment while the computer literacy of nurse staff becomes a very important index.
This study aims to discuss those factors that affect nurses’ satisfaction rate of the clinical ladder on-line testing. A certain hospital in southern Taiwan was chosen to receive questionnaire survey and a total of 453 copies of effective questionnaires were collected. The research result indicates that significant positive relationship exists in the six variables regarding nurses’ computer literacy, namely “Computer and internet knowledge”, “Knowledge of peripheral equipment and their operations”, “Computer application principals”, “Internet application capability”, “Medical information system application capability”, and “Attitude on computer and societal issues”. While in the learning environment, the higher the variable of the “unit computer quantity” is, the higher is the satisfaction rate of the clinical ladder on-line testing. Furthermore, significant negative relationship exists in the three variables of “age”, “job title” and “education” that possess individual population quality. The higher the three variables are, the lower is the satisfaction rate of the clinical ladder on-line testing. This research result has proposed relevant factors that affect the satisfaction rate of the clinical ladder on-line testing that may be taken as reference for other hospitals and clinics when they are setting up clinical ladder on-line system.
