However, the stability of application and drive technology are worse than rotary motor. In this paper, a linear motor drive system is established, including drive circuits and controllers, which is manufactured by FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) chip. The programs in FPGA are composed of current controller, vector control, velocity controller and position controller. Hence use only one FPGA chip to implement digitized linear motor driver, which is programmable and stable. In this research, both simulation and experiment are involved, including permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM), FPGA develop-board, drive circuit and feedback circuit.
