This system consists of Cartesian-Guided Tripod Machine Tool and a serial mechanism. At first, we get the NC code generated by editing preprocess file for MasterCAM. Then we put the code into program and use the equations of inverse kinematic analysis. The Five-Axis CGT Machine Tool System will be in correct motion. From the result of simulation, we could efficiently control whether the machining range sits in this workspace of machine and whether the collision happens between the mechanics. Through the above procedure, the user could completely control the basic and systematic techniques of virtual machine tool. And by using the information provided by the simulation system, the user could predict whether the process correct or not. In this way, we could immediately estimate the accuracy of manufacturing process and modify the incorrect process.
