Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程所 === 94 === Due to the nonlinear distorting loads are widely used in the application of industrial equipments, problems associated with harmonics, source voltage distortion, and poor power factor are of great concerns. Harmonics in power systems could shorten the equipment life and could interfere with the communication lines and the sensitive loads. Therefore, how to eliminate the harmonic pollution and to provide a stable source voltage become very important. The thesis presents a teaching tool for the active power filter studies. The tool is developed with the Matlab-based graphic user interface. The Active Power Filter (APF) theories rely on the reference compensation voltage and current strategies. The shunt, series, and hybrid APF schemes are under study. Results obtained by simulations with Matlab and Simulink show that the proposed approach is effective in controlling the APFs for harmonic and/or reactive power compensations. The teaching tool is easily to operate and allows users to realize different control strategies for solving the harmonic problems for the APF applications.
