碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 勞工研究所 === 94 === Labor Pension Act was promulgated on June 30, 2004 and this Act took effect after one year from the date of promulgation hereof (July 1, 2005). This research is focusing on the policy advocacy process of Labor Pension Act from July first 2004 to June 30th 2005. Besides, this research will compare the differences between Labor Pension Act and the pension regulations in Labor Standards Act. The research object is person attending the symposium of Labor Pension Act in Yunlin county, Chiayi city, Chiayi county, Tainan city and Tainan county which is purposive sampling. I released 761 sets of questionnaires, got 540 sets of valid questionnaires, analyzed by statistics methods of descriptive statistics, t-test analysis of independence and analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results are summarized as follows: 1. Labor Pension Act has improved the deficiencies of Labor Standard Act but Labor Pension Act still has the defects, the administrators should declare the advantages and the disadvantages of Labor Pension Act together. 2. The research objects show the television is the most popular channel to get the information about Labor Pension Act. The second way to get information is from newspapers or magazines. The third is symposium held by the government. The fourth is written papers published by the government. The fifth is the government’s website through internet. 3. The comprehension of Labor Pension Act: the people under the age of 30 are the most comprehensive of Labor Pension Act. 4. The responsibility of policy advocacy of Labor Pension Act: The younger people agree that Labor Pension Act is good for labors more than the elders. The people with age more than 50 do not satisfy the way that government advocates Labor Pension Act.
