The program language, MATLAB, has been employed for simulating zone plates, and image reconstruction. The icon language, LabVIEW, has been applied to connect all experimental equipments systematically. The encoded shadows(holograms)of the middle and far infrared have been recorded. The images have been reconstructed through these encoded shadows by MATLAB. The comparison of reconstructed images with objects has been proposed.
The thesis can be summarized in four phases. The first, understand the principle and imaging steps of zone plate encoded image technique in infrared, and search for appropriate middle and far infrared detectors, and then finish to fabricate the encoded shadow recording device. The second, simulate the encoded shadows of one-point, three-point sources and some plane sources by MATLAB. The third, successfully set up all equipments for recording the encoded shadows of the middle and far infrared, and the whole recording system has been linked by LabVIEW. Varied encoded shadows have been registered by the self-built recording system. The fourth, employ MATLAB to reconstruct the images through the encoded shadows.
