In similar researches most of the systems are embedded with operation systems such as Linux or Windows CE. Although this can reduce the difficulties of system development, it limits the flexibility to develop programs of physical layer such as interrupt service routines or drivers of devices. So this research develops all levels of computer network programs, without any operating system, to build a remote control system. As to protocols, this research uses Modbus, which is most generally used in the industry. With this protocol, controllers produced by different manufacturers can communicate via networks. After careful evaluation, this research uses a simulation board with ARM 7 S3C4510B CPU to develop program of HTTP protocol; this enables users to control equipments via internet by any computer with web browser installed. So it can not only break the limit of distance in traditional factories, but also can simply use the browser instead of specialized software to proceed with control procedure. Furthermore, it can lower the cost of staff training and enable staff to access to the control environment at any time. This research is going to simulate an ADAM 6051 controller with the ARM7 simulation board and to setup a network control system with other real ADAM 6071 and ADAM 6051. Further, all equipments in this control system will be operated and monitored by the software “ADAM Ethernet IO” to prove the workability and compatibility of simulation board.
