In order to adapt these changes, it is needless to say that the nursing department in hospital put more emphasis on both quality and operating-cost control. To reach the goals set by hospital, the management of nursing system has should try the best to promote the intention of Organizational-Citizenship Behavior (OCB) by the means of matching faculty’s demands. The purposes of this study are to explore the relationships among transactional leadership, trust and the intention of OCB in hospital nurses. In the beginning, the researcher will define related concepts about leadership, trust and OCB from literature. A questionnaire study was initiated at 13 hospitals in Tau-Yuan, Shin-Tsu and Miao-Li counties. A total of 194 effective datas were enrolled. The statistical analyses were performed using independent test, One-way ANVOVA, Pearson Correlation Analysis, and Multiple Regression. Significant findings are as followings: 1. There is a positive correlation among each dimension of transactional leadership, trust and OCB. 2. There are statistical difference among each characteristic, such as marriage, seniority, education and leadership-interval. 3. Through multiple regression analysis, transactional leadership influence OCB directly, but trust doesn’t show as an intermediary role toward transactional leadership and OCB; besides, the contingent reward factor indeed influence civic virtue through the intermediary role by affect-based trust.
