The stress scale and life adjustment scale was conducted to collect data. Eight hundreds and twenty-five students subjects were sampled from the National Yunlin university of Science and Technology. The results of this research were shown as fallow: 1. The graduate students got the highest score in self-expectation stress and the lowest score in social-relationship stress. 2. The graduate students got the highest score in objective adjustment and the lowest score in study adjustment. 3. The college students got the highest score in self-expectation stress and the lowest score in social-relationship stress. 4. The college students got the highest score in emotional adjustment and the lowest score in study adjustment. 5. The graduate students, with different college, grade, identity, part-time jobs and clubs, were significantly different in their stress. 6. The graduate students, with different college, identity and clubs, were significantly different in their adjustment. 7. The college students, with different gender, college, grade, identity, part-time jobs and clubs, were significantly different in their stress. 8. The college students, with different gender, college, grade and part-time jobs, were significantly different in their adjustment. 9. The college students have higher stress of social-relationship and self-expectation than the graduate students. 10. The graduate students have higher adjustment of objective than the college students. 11. There were significant correlation among the stress and adjustment. These results have been discussed in the thesis and some suggestions are made.
