碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 環境與安全工程系碩士班 === 93 === Researchers in biotech laboratories are exposed to unique and less commonly seen biological hazards; with a view to understanding how the researchers recognize the biological hazards they encounter, this research seeks to investigate whether the establishment of safety and sanitation guidelines helps to improve the researchers’ hazard recognition and management. According to the statistics released by the Ministry of Education, there are more than forty colleges islandwide which have biotech-related departments and about fifty biotech laboratories have been set up. This research targets these fifty biotech laboratories. First, the information and literature on biological hazards from abroad are collected; also, relevant domestic regulations on biological hazards are taken into consideration. Then, a biological hazard management system for the colleges is set up. The training in biological hazards helps to improve the researchers’ understanding on the hazards; therefore, it is crucial for the colleges to include an education program on biological hazards in their biological laboratories. This research purpose is by collecting the relevant norm of security of living beings that the foreign advanced country concludes, and domestic biology laboratory work regulations, utilize the automatic tool of computer that the safe hygiene risk of the laboratory grades to make the factor of endangering to distinguish and analyse, set up the scientific and technological safe hygiene of biology laboratory of institutes of schools of a set of junior colleges to guide.
