Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 設計運算研究所碩士班 === 93 === In the visual communication design domain, the scholars always must pay attention to develop the researches of the logo design. Up to now, the researches focus on the logo images or how to set up a computer-aided design system about using the logo image. There are few researches on how to help to create the design inspiration during the initial stage or how to build the computer-aided design system. And drawing software, such as CorelDraw , only have the functions of the vertical undo, lacking for those of horizontal modifiable action. The defect would make a mismatch with designers’ habit. Therefore, it’s necessary to improve the function in order to find more ways to create designs. According to the foregoing concept, we use Theory of play-impulse, which is one of theory of Art Source, to make a research. In the process to help the designer to find the creative inspiration, we import the theory of Kindergarten Grammar which can analyze the geometry of logos to arrange the combine rules because the shape grammar broadly-defined is a kind of the shape game. We not only used the analytic results and the computational ability of the computer to solve the above-mentioned problems, but also used Borland C++ Builder 6.0 to build the system, which could automatically generate the combined shapes of logo design. They are combined with the spatial relations of the basic geometrics such as circle, rectangle, triangle and other shape rules. The system could show the generative development of the logo design to the designer and let them select what they want, and what can help their design thinking in the proposal. The system also could simplify the time that it takes for the designer to collect the design cases, and to prove the 2D design implementation with the shape grammar.
