Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 機械工程系碩士班 === 93 === In this study, vibration grinding technology has been applied to the ceramic material of aluminum oxide (99.7%). The vibration grinding devices are designed, made, and improved. With the piezo-electrical actuators (PZT), the vibration grinding devices can produce the micro-amplitude.
This study is divided into three parts:
1.Using a dynamometer to measure the voltage signals and to analyze the data with a PC. The purpose is meant to understand the benefit with vibration grinding.
2.Analyzing the surface roughness (Ra) after vibration grinding.
3.Varying the feed rate, using backup material at the exit side, and introducing vibration to discuss the dimensional accuracy after grinding process.
In the results of the vibration grinding experiment, grinding with vibration can effectively reduce grinding force about 75 %. And introducing vibration parallel or vertical to the feed direction cutting tool can improve the surface roughness of 24.1 % and 24.4 % respectively. In the situation of biaxial vibration, 25 % of improvement can be obtained. At last, the experimental result of dimensional accuracy in grinding shows that using the various feeding rate with backup material at the exit side can decrease the fracture areas of inlet and outlet. After introducing vibration it can effectively elevate the accuracy of 1.2 % at inlet and 3.4 % at outlet.
