Adopted Bentham Panoption image and transformed into beginning of educational locations, then to criticized culture industry in Frankfurt School, and to connecting instrumental rationality in the modern age, this study has concluded: starting from little as students, then gradually expanding to teachers in school environments, then to the public generally accepting public culture, and finally to the entire human beings in this modern society, it seems that everyone is chasing freedom, but at the mean time is stuck in freedom. This is undoubtedly also a big sarcasm to human beings’ self behavior. Freedom reflexive means the approach we follow to express the real meaning of freedom. Freedom reflects conditions deviated from self, and also provides us with another change for introspection to freedom. The purpose of our education is only to train our students for self developments to match their orientation instead of projecting an example for them to follow. For students to freely develop themselves is maybe the freedom in education. The author has been in elementary school education for nearly 10 years. Through the author’s interactions with students, parents, co-workers, school environments, and further to current educational trend, the author has felt deeply the contradiction between ideal and reality. This is the type of situation that makes students stuck in freedom. This status of non-freedom can be roughly divided into 5 main topics. Through interpreting these topics with philosophy and sociology, those can be leading into creation of visual arts. The practical creation starts from life experience. Found in products like animal sculpture folding model after being processed under industrial manufacturing procedure, the manufacturing technology has created entirely different visual perception created in original printing pattern. Through processing this unique graphing pattern, it has also embarked self introspection in displaying this type of non-freedom situation in students’ education through using visual arts materials and vocabularies. 陳秋瑾 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 117 zh-TW
