Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立師範學院 === 國民教育研究所 === 93 === Abstract The purpose of this research is to discuss the job satisfaction and intern effectiveness of student teachers at the elementary schools in Taipei County and City. The research objects are the public elementary school student teachers of Taipei County and City, and carry out empirical research. The research instrument is the questionnaire survey of self-edited “Questionnaire of the job satisfaction and intern effectiveness of student teachers at the elementary schools”. Total 1060 questionnaires were issued, in which the statistic analysis was applied on the 862 returned and valid samples. From the analysis and discussion by use of percentage, mean, standard error, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation, it is known that: 1. The job satisfaction of elementary school student teachers in Taipei County and City include 6 aspects, namely, (1) Teaching practice, (2) Tutor practice, (3) Administration and practice systems, (4) Seminar, (5) Achievement demand, and (6) Career adaptability. As for their intern effectiveness include 4 aspects, namely, (1) Verification of educational philosophy, skilled professional knowledge, (2) Realizing educational object, enlightening research interest, (3) Cultivating administrative competence and experience in school, and (4) Knowing teacher’s responsibility, cultivating teacher’s example. 2. Their job satisfaction and intern effectiveness are all belong to “medium to high degree”, and get to “medium to high correlation” in the 10 aspects... 3. Their overall job satisfaction in turns are, (1) Tutor practice, (2) Administration and practice systems, (3) Teaching practice, (4) Achievement demand, (5) Seminar, and (6) Career adaptability. That is they have higher satisfaction on “Tutor practice”, and lower satisfaction of “Career adaptability”. 4. As for intern effectiveness, the overall intern effectiveness in turns are, (1) Knowing teacher’s responsibility, cultivating teacher’s example, (2) Cultivating administrative competence and experience in school, (3) Verification of educational philosophy, skilled professional knowledge, and (4) Realizing educational object, enlightening research interest. That is the have higher intern effectiveness on “Knowing teacher’s responsibility, cultivating teacher’s example” and lower intern effectiveness on “Realizing educational object, enlightening research interest”. 5. According to this research, their overall job satisfaction and intern effectiveness and the correlation between each aspect are all have significant positive correlation. It shows the overall and each aspect’s intern effectiveness increase with the scoring of overall job satisfaction, in which “Realizing educational object, enlightening research interest” and “Verification of educational philosophy, skilled professional knowledge” have the highest correlation. 6. According to this research, the correlation between each aspect of their overall intern effectiveness and job satisfaction has significant medium positive correlation. It shows the job satisfaction increase with the higher aspect of intern effectiveness, in which the job satisfaction of “Administration and practice systems” and “Career adaptability” has the highest correlation. The researcher proposed as below according to above conclusions: 1. Suggestions to education administrative institution (1) Providing educational intern strategy, improving elementary school student teachers’ job satisfaction. (2) Improving seminar, inspiring job morale, and improving specialty position. 2. Suggestions to teacher training institution (1) Carry out job assistance system of student teacher. (2) Focus on both theory and practice gradually, cultivate professional educational talents. 3. Suggestions to practice school (1) Establishing practice guidance team, facilitating intern effectiveness. (2) Establishing selecting guidance team, satisfying the needs of student teachers. 4. Suggestions to elementary school Student teachers (1) Selecting intern school carefully, improving intern effectiveness (2) Demonstrating professional enthusiasm, making steps of intern catch up expectations. (3) Establishing good interpersonal relationship, establishing educational advancement supporting network.
