Description
Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 機械與機電工程學系碩士班 === 93 === In this paper, a study on the production of 440C stainless steel micro-hole and microstructure by powder hot emboss molding is presented. The study also used the Taguchi method to find out the optimizing parameter for sintering 440C stainless steel(mean powder size is 4μm), which the optimum density of 7.52g/cm3 was achieved with a sintering temperature of 1250℃, a heating rate of 10℃/min and heating time for 5 hrs. Two types of mold were used the molding was conducted on a conventional hot embossing molding machine. The study showed that the dense 440C stainless steel microstructures of inner diameter 250μm hole and outer diameter 1500μm spiral can be hot emboss molded at optimum sintering parameters. Additional, 3D tri-conical array microstructures are successfully carried out with a stamp with close-packed 304 stainless steel ball designed, during hot emboss molding, the green-compacts can be filled fully with the cavity between the free standing with rotated 304 stainless steel ball.
