Summary: | 碩士 === 淡江大學 === 電機工程學系碩士在職專班 === 93 === Since ancient till today, car, no matter presenting in any shape or design, has been the best and the most comfortable transportation tool in the civilization world. At the very beginning, car represents a symbol of the monarch, the nobleman or high social level persons. However, around one hundred years ago, car was not a luxury consumer good anymore and getting closer to civil life when Henry Ford started to produce T car. Until today, car is playing an important role and becoming a transportation tool that most people rely on in their daily life. Because people spend much more time in car than before, car’s security, comfort and video/audio equipment has become an issue that most people are caring much. When car engine is getting more and more powerful and the driving speed is getting higher and higher, we need to pay more attention to all of the car details because every part of the car, no matter inside or outside, is related to the driver and the passengers’ lives.
Based on the above points, this paper is presenting a design of car using micro processor which combines the following systems:
1. The spontaneously accelerating detect system
2. The driving behavior monitor system
By using the Driving Behavior Monitor System, we can control all kinds of situations which could be happening upon driving a car. For instance, when a tired or drunk driver suddenly takes an abnormal speeding up or turning a corner through an excessive angle, the Driving Behavior Monitor System can immediately send out a warning message to the driver and enable the driver to correct his driving way immediately. In addition, due to some designing problem of the car or the incaution of the drivers, cars could be suddenly loosing the speed to move back or forth. When the situation happens, the Driving Behavior Monitor System can immediately forward a message to the ECU (Electrical Control Unit) installed in car, then the ECU will be able to take some proper actions to the fuel feeding system, the electric power system and the shoe system on time to avoid the fatal damage happening.
Except the above mentioned functionalities, this paper also provides the investigation regarding some particular car environments such as sever cold, extreme hot, high humidity and the instability of the source of electricity. All the study and the investigation in this paper is to design and create a micro processor which is truly applicable and practical to be used in car.
