Hence, literature review and survey research method are adopted in this study. The questionnaires are administered to 491 nursing teachers. The subjects include 450 nursing teachers and 388 questionnaires are completed that represent a response rate of 86.22 percent. The data are analyzed by the statistical methods of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation , canonical correlation, and multiple regression. The results are as follows: 1. Job stress of nursing teachers in senior and vocational high schools is a middle degree. 2. Job stress of nursing teachers comes mainly from social environment. The stress based on student factors is the least. The main source of job stress is 「worry about how nursing teachers are defined」.The mean is 4.46 which is middle-high level. 3. Age, marital status, seniority ,job position of nursing teachers, school type and school size have significant difference in terms of whole job stress. However, education degree has no significant difference in terms of job stress. Nursing teachers in senior and vocational high schools with different backgrounds have the most job stress in terms of social environment. 4. Job satisfaction of nursing teachers in senior and vocational high schools is a middle degree. 5. Among five dimensions of job satisfaction, 「interpersonal relationships」is the highest and 「job guaranty」is the lowest. 6. The job stress is negatively correlated with job satisfaction. 7. There are four canonical factors between job stress and job satisfaction. 「school factor」(-.818)of job stress is most significantly related to 「working environment」(.933)of job satisfaction. Based on these conclusions, suggestions are presented as follows: 1. The authorities should decrease nursing teachers’ job stress coming from social surroundings and build up proper retirement system. 2. Schools should improve working surroundings and treat nursing teachers fairly. 3. Nursing teachers should learn further and take an attitude toward lifelong learning. 4. The further research can be improved in terms of research object, variable, content, method and instrument. 黃燕飛 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 177 zh-TW
