Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 93 === The electro-optical industry has been included in the emerging industry policies of our country. For training the talents of electro-optical technology by universities of technology can become useful and practical talents in industry. This thesis focuses on the design of the professional electro-optical courses. According to the future needs of the electro-optical industry, the existing program should be separated into several smaller professional programs. By the way, students can depend on it when taking courses.
The questionnaire was based on the analysis of the literatures, and was analyzed via Delphi technique. The study interviewed the representatives from the electro-optical industry as well as the electro-optical academic field, and constructed the goal-oriented programs with perspective. The study also clearly divided the electro-optical research fields at technological university in the future five years.
The results of the two-round Delphi questionnaire are in agreement.
The conclusions of the research are as follows:
1. The manpower developed by the technological university each year is clearly insufficient.
2. The experts from industry and academic fields say that the electro-optical courses at the technological university in the future five years are supposed to include the program of Optoelectronic Semiconductor, of Optoelectronic Materials and Devices, of Image Display Technology, of Photovoltaic, of Electro-Optical Patent and intellectual property rights, and of Biophotonics.
3. The experts from the industry and academic fields agree that program of Optoelectronic Semiconductor and of Optoelectronic Materials and Devices are the most crucial at technological university in the future five years.
4. There is no major discrepancy between the experts from industry field and that from the academic field.
Furthermore, the research offers some relevant improvement suggestions to the educational authorities, schools, teachers, students, and the following researches.
