Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺中健康暨管理學院 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 93 === Barcode is one of the methods to input data into the computer. By means of this, it greatly reduces troubles and mistakes made by traditional keyboard inputs, and speeds up data reading. The main differences between 1-D and 2-D barcode are 2-D barcode has higher data storage capacity and can be recovered when it is damaged, but 1-D barcode does not have such ability. Two-dimensional barcode can be applied in many conditions where 1-D barcode cannot be used; for instance, delivering dynamic data and operating data access off-line are two examples. This research utilizes input rules of Chinese character roots to the barcode contents and combines the use of phonetic barcode; moreover, it enables the barcode with Chinese character processing ability. In general, the barcode can only express the contents of the character data or the numerical data, but it cannot contain the data types in the phonetic barcodes. In this research, it combines the phonetic bar-code recognition techniques with different types of barcodes to apply to electronic medical information system, and furthermore it makes the data processing and management more efficient.
