The development of human genome programs and sequencing methods increases the importance of information technology on the database search. Recently, medical universities have rapidly developed bioinformatics resources to assist biomedical and molecular biology researches. In the thesis, we will set up a working station based on the European Molecular Biology Open Software Suite (EMBOSS). The users can assay biological properties of genomic and proteomic databases through the internet, including enzyme limit-cut of nuclei sequence, the primer design of polymerase chain reaction, the residue characters of protein primary sequences, the sequence homogeneity, and evolution process assay. This bioinformatics research environment will abbreviate lots of biology experiments, being widely helpful for the biomedical investigators on their researches. Chang JG J.P. Tsai R.M.
