and powerline based LonWorks network for remote home appliance control and
monitoring system. Users have the conveniences for remote access theirs home
appliances through standard Web browsers without any extra plug-in software. The
advantages of using powerline as the medium of data transmission and control at homes
is obviously, among many standards the "open" LonWorks technology has solid system
architecture suitable for house control and automation systems. With the extension of
this Webserver the LonWorks control networks can easily be integrated with the
Internet.
