These prototypical approaches elevate query formulation from the logical level to the conceptual schema level by supporting the direct use of concepts and abstractions on conceptual schema in query statements. In order to verify that OBSS can provide users ease-of-use,and user-friendly interfaces and the usability of OBSS,we took Split-plot repeared measures design(SPF) on this research. We also analyse the diversity of usability among these query languages through experiments consists of different user-experiece and different levels of designed query questions. Subjects are sixty Southern Taiwan Unirvisity of technology students majored in Information Managment or Applied English. Major instruments for the study are 'SQL and QBSS on-line Teaching and Testing System' developed by researcher and we let the students filled in a form with their opinion in the end. The major findings are as follows: (1)The students' attitude on QBSS is more positive than SQL. (2)There is corelation on the usability of different kinds of query language. (3)The difference will be occured when doing different levels of QBSS and SQL query question task. The students got higher score when they use QBSS for testing. (4)The correlation between different kinds of query language and user-experience is not signeficant on usablity, efficiency and satisfaction. (5)The correlation among different kinds of query languages , user-experience and complexity of query questions is not signeficant. But query language and user-experience have significant correlations with the test result on efficiency. Tarng-Yao Yang 楊棠堯 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 123 zh-TW
