In the process of fulfillment of space design, citizens participate in public affairs of space and environment. This phenomenon reveals a designing method that differs from professionalism-led space development and planning in the past. In responding to the status of multielement development of society, only bottom-up community designing and fulfillment may be sufficient. When professional space designers and general community residents confront with such change, they inevitably must make certain level of changes in the learning of designing and implementing and education and knowledge model for community residents. For designers, they must learn how to surpass the unavoidable “proprietary view”, which is requirement of space from local residents and community vision. For community residents, they must adapt to public affair participation in the environment of public participation, and fulfill the deep-rooting of democracy through environment reconstruction. The purpose of this Study aims to interpretate phenomenon of designing, attempts to categorize form of knowledge and practice performance, and conducts a certain type of categorization through case studies of Taiwan architectures and actual experiences in related projects. “Environmental context-pragmatism” refers to an interrelation between discovery of “factor” and “Function” adopted by modern space professionals. Such concept of design seems to form the major base for modern design movement, which becomes the common technical knowledge domain. However, the “function – relation” issue does not satisfy realistic society in the phenomenon of specialized professionalism and multielement social development. Common view of designing team established in cross-profession heterogeneous structure becomes an absolute tread because designers must face with more issues in environment context. Interpretation of environment context in a broader sense includes concerns in space and society; it is facilitated with knowledge and reflected on knowledge tools for implementation of design. Therefore, environment context pragmatism in this Study commonly refers to professional space designers. This Study shall conduct categorization according to form of knowledge and implementation, and then further validates through participation of case studies from experience of actual planning projects. This Study shall derive the fulfillment issues of form of knowledge and practice performance of “subject person” designers from education of design. The purpose is to inspect the subjective performance of implementation of design, and observe how designers facilitate knowledge and skill bases in works, which are constructed on the performance of implementation of design in the base environment. 盧圓華 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 177 zh-TW |
