Concretely speaking, the purposes of the study are as the followings: 1. To look into the perceived situations and impossible informed causes of the job stress, job satisfaction and coping strategies for administrators in Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School. 2.To compare the differences of the job stress,job satisfaction and coping strategies in background vaiables for administrators in Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School. 3.To constrast the reciprocally correlative situations and influential conditions among job stress ,job satisfaction , and coping strategies for administrators in Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School. 4.To inquire into the influences of job stress, through the mediations of job satisfaction,to coping strategies. 5.Based on the findings of the study. the suggestions are offered as references of the administrative implement and human resource management in Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School. The study uses the questionnaire survey based on the complete census approach, The 388 subjects of the population are selected from all administrators of five municipal vocational high schools in Kaohsiung city. The tool of study is the self-constructed questionnaire including personal data, job stress scale,job satisfaction scale and coping strategy scale has been tested by administrators in Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School. The study leads to the following significant findings and conclusions: 1.The overall job stress,job satisfaction and coping strategies for administrators in Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School are more than the medium degree. Among them, Heavy workload is first in those of the job stress, Internal satisfaction is first in those of the job satisfaction , and Support-seeking is first in those of the coping strategies. 2.As to job stress,job satisfaction and coping strategies, their differences are not all significant in background variables. 3.There are absolutely negative correlations between job stress and job satisfaction, but not all obviously positive correlations between job satisfaction and coping strategies,and not all significantly positive correlations between job stress and coping strategies. 4.Job stress express absolutely negative predication influences to job satisfaction, but not all job satisfaction express obviously positive predication influences to coping strategies,and job stress do not express predication influences to coping strategies. 5.Job satisfaction have absolutely mediating effects between job stress and coping strategies. Finally,according to the above findings and conclusions, the study raises the suggestions to relvent education authorities, Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School and their administrators,and offers the practicable directions to continual researches for references of the administive implement and human resource management in Kaohsiung Municipal Vocational High School.
