碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 93 === In the past decades there has been a move among enterprises toward outsourcing in order to maintain their core competitive abilities. The process information system (PIS) seen as one of the computer integrated manufacture (CIM) system’s circle ring layers is located in the key level of the plant’s manufacturing. Accordingly, the PIS outsourcing has become an important trend recently. This study adopted the main principles of qualitative research and case study theory is an exploratory analysis of the outsourcing for the PIS based on collected data from the China Steel Corporation. Through the data collection and analysis from the document、interviews and participant-observation, this study found the outsourcing forms based on the conditions of core technical (know-how) abilities、cost and man power. This study observes and analyses the outsourcing decision factors based on the five construction surfaces such as economical 、technical、strategy、management and political. Finally this study proposes some comments and suggestions for the references of outsourcing.
