Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 社會學系 === 93 === The study aims to explore the social environment of Taiwan Hakka Cultural Movement and the construction of Hakka ethnic group, the process of the cultural movement and the correlation of factors of their effects. The documentary analysis was adopted as a research method to explore the enlightenment of Taiwan Hakka Cultural Movement and the status of other cultural movements. The research also adopted purposive sampling that was divided into two stages in process: 1) questionnaire survey – the subject of survey included Hakka and non-Hakka people who are more than 20 years old and live in Taipei City and Taipei County. 20 samples each from 5 administrative areas in Taipei City and 5 towns in Taipei County. Total 200 questionnaires were issued and 195 effective questionnaires were returned; 2) case interview – with purposive sampling, we selected 5 ethnic Hakkas including Hakka housewives, blue and white collars, civil servants, employees of state enterprises to conduct case interviews. In the meantime, for deep and wide understanding and comparing the results of various questionnaire surveys, the open-ended talks of in-depth interviews were adopted to collect related data. By means of above-mentioned methods and focusing on the subject of research, it is hoped that we could understand ethnic identity of Hakka culture among different ethnic groups and Hakka ethnic group themselves and ethnic construction under diversified ethnic groups in Taiwan. The conclusions of research are as follows:
1.The democratic atmosphere have caused the emergence of conscience of the Hakka ethnic group;
2.The injection of governmental resources combined with civil strength may contribute the development of Hakka culture;
3.Social marketing of media can revive Hakka cultural industry and bring about business opportunities;
4.Through political manipulation and influence of votes, the political position of Hakka ethnic group will be enhanced;
5.Promote education of native language of Haka to defuse the crisis of language and culture of Hakka; and
6.The re-annotation of New Hakka
