The research targets in this project are children who witness marital violence. Through their description, children’s thoughts and reactions toward marital violence will be discovered and help eliminate marital violence.
The study adopted qualitative research method by semi-structured interviewing and collecting data. The project uses purposeful sampling method to recruit candidates, and two children and their parents are interviewed. It is described that family violence cognition and coping strategy of children witness to marital violence. This research project also discusses the interview results and makes suggestions for education, social work.
