On-line computer games are differ from PC game, they have more interactivity. With on-line game, players no longer play game with monotonous computer AI; they cooperate or compete with other player in the virtual world. Most of on-line games are based on client-server architecture, because they have good efficiency. But client-server architecture has bandwidth issue. They cannot easily solved by investing server and bandwidth. Some people start to discuss the possibility of on-line game that based on Peer-to-Peer architecture. Peer-to-Peer architecture has better flexibility and extensibility. But new problems have been addressed because of peer-to-peer characteristic. This study focused on how to keep the portability of user profile in the on-line game that based on peer-to-peer architecture. And trying to resist link lost problem.
