Research on the Influences on Job Performance of the Care Worker of Children in the Private Child Day Care Center in Taipei County

碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 青少年兒童福利研究所 === 93 === The research aims at the point of view of the administrators, and is the study of the evaluation criteria of job performance of the private day care center in Taipei County and the related factors of the influences on the care work of children’s job performance. According to the related material, analysis, validities of the experts, pretests, and the reliabilities, I made the Questionnaire of the Job Performance of the Care Work of Children in the Private Child Day Care Center, including personality traits scale, worker’s behavior scale, professional knowledge and competency scale and job performance scale. The research sample is the Social Affair Bureau in Taipei County-registered private day care center, which adapts stratified random sampling. Based on the administration areas of the Social Affair Bureau, I divide the whole Taipei County into eight areas. On the second stratification, based on the number of children of the day care centers registered in each administration area, I divide them into four types and collect the samples in proportion. The number of the valid questionnaires is 278. The percentage of reclamation is 0.669%. All the data are analyzed by the such statistics as mean, standard deviation, frequency distribution, percentage, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s posterior comparisons, Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The result of the research shows: I. The administrators of the Taipei County private day care centers believe that the job performance is highly influenced by the personality traits, worker’s behavior, and professional knowledge and competency. II. The administrators of the day care centers highly stress the job performance of the care work of children. The averages of all aspects are above the average, among which teaching performance is stress most. III. The administrators of the Taipei County private day care centers believe the personal factors are obviously related to the job performance. To sum up, the researcher raises related suggestions on the basis of the administrative institution, cultivating schools, the administrators of the day care centers, the care work of children and the follow-up research.
