Theses nanowires are found to be valuable for its small size and excellent magnetic properties such as magnetoresistance. These wires are very much suitable for magnetic sensors and magnetic memories. In this study, Ni/Cu and Co/Cu multilayer metal nanowires are electrochemically deposited via porous anodic aluminum oxide templates. By controlling the pore size of templates and the deposition time, the magnetic properties can be modified. We will discuss the relationship between nanowire morphology and its magnetic properties. The outcome of this research may be applicable in magnetic sensing devices and magnetic memories. In this study many techniques are applied to analyze the characteristics of magnetic multilayer metal nanowires. Powder X-ray diffractometer will be used to analyze the crystal structure of nanowires. With scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope we can observe the morphology of nanowires. Furthermore, hysteresis loops and magnetoresistance measurements will perfom to investigate the magnetic properties of nanowires. 黃昭淵 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
