Especially in the market of automobile, the design is often the main reason a car sells. The key point of deciding a markets rise or fall is whether its design can attract the consumers. The development in science and technology of the automobile today and the disparity of manufacturing technology of every car factory is shrinking. The design is slowly becoming the most important key element. In order to occupy an essential status on the consumer market, you need people who can create a clear design and shaping visual, taking absolute advantage and accord with current trend of products design. However, facing the automobile market to keen competition day by day, every car factory usually adopts the tactics of amalgamation, merging purchase, or sharing components for reducing the market risk and production costs. Therefore, it will be very important to car factories no know how to extend its style in the course of developing. This Research will compare the first with the last generation of the same series of cars’ design by morphing. It shows that modern-time automobiles is in the most similar situation with stimulation when morphing degree is arised to 65%, this concept can be used to develop different series by comparing the result of morphing with nowadays manufactured cars. While every car factory develops its serial cars, this phenomenon can be the major element that combines the concept car with the former car. This 65% concept will offer more accurate and correct judgments to the future generation of designers, shortening the time it takes to create a new design. By satisfying consumers and winning the markets approval, both consumers and manufacturers receive a win-win ending. Lin-Lin Chen 陳玲鈴 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 87 zh-TW
