Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 93 === This research verifies the application of the simplified model to soil-structure interaction (SSI) analysis in the frequency-domain and investigates the effects of SSI behaviors and dimensionless parameters on structural responses for high-tech industrial structures undergoing harmonic forces. The results obtained by using the optimized equivalent model consist with those obtained by the real model with complex impedance functions. In addition to the dimensionless frequency, the foundation embedded ratio, the foundation mass ratio, the story mass ratio, and the story stiffness ratio are also important parameters for structural responses. As the story stiffness ratio decreases, the effects of structure modal frequencies on resonant responses are significant but the SSI effect is not obvious with increasing story numbers.
This research also verifies the application of the simplified model to SSI analysis in the time-domain for high-tech industrial structures undergoing machine loadings and seismic excitations. The responses of the simplified soil-structure system by using SAP2000 program consist with those of the real soil-structure system obtained by SASSI program and also reflect frequency characteristics of the real system. Hence, the application of the optimized equivalent model to the vibration analysis of high-tech industrial structures is considered reliable.
