It can provide an external appearance inspection for smearing silver on a core. The system is composed of several modules including core supplying module, smearing silver machine module, clamping apparatus module, machine vision module and control unit. The silver areas of cores can be analyzed and detected by using image acquiring and image processing technology. The functions of the inspection have a flexible setting of image analysis to obtain the suitable parameters for determining the external defects of cores.
