Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 93 === Arc furnace operation caused voltage flicker, a reactive power compensation device to be installed to improve it. However, a harmonic resonance results from the improper installation of the reactive power compensation device may alias the voltage flicker. Hence, in this thesis the effects of harmonic power to voltage flicker will be intensively surveyed.
Traditionally, the assessment of in point of common coupling is used to identify the severity of voltage flicker. If there are multiple flicker sources fed into point of common coupling, this method have difficulty in estimation of individual flicker contribution. Hence, an equivalent current variation method also is proposed to overcome this difficulty. Finally, the proposed method is vilified by using real data from arc furnace operation measurement.
