Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 材料科技研究所 === 93 === This research is to study the impact of Plasma heat on alloy’s medium coating. We have concluded the different heat impact results of using CO2 laser as the constant heat source and applying Plasma on three commonly used commercial products-- METCO 450(Ni-5Al)、AMDRY 962 (Ni-22Cr-10Al-1Y) and AMDRY 996(Co-25Cr-10Ni-7Al-5Ta-0.6Y). From our studies, we found out that, when we applied the CO2 laser heat to METCO 450’s coating, the heat transfer from edge toward the center of melting crater, and then, from center downwards. Due to it also carried the heat at the same time, the crater became relatively deep and narrower. For other coatings, such as AMDRY 962 and 996, on the contrary, it flew from center outwards. Therefore, the crater shaped relatively flat and wider. These three kinds of products all appeared to have “heat cracks” after heat impact from laser. The heat cracks for METCO 450 appeared around the rim of the crater. AMDRY 992’s cracks appeared near the center of the crater. AMDRY 996’s cracks appeared in both center and rim of the crater. It proved to be more sensitive to the conductivity of the heat.
