Especially, it aims to analyze the formal strategy of landscape architecture in some typical works of international competition. It also explores the professional practice of landscape architecture under the specific political economics and the social-cultural context in the past decade in Taiwan. Finally, the conclusion of this study is to uncover how the toolbox of forms and shapes offers opportunities for modern landscape design practice, as well as discuss how to contribute to defining the content of landscape design in Taiwan.
