Nevertheless, as society evolves, various public amusements result, temple activities are no longer the sole provider of amusement. Transformation is the only way to extend temple activities further. Community leadership and management are crucial to transformation of temple activities, thus community leaders and related social organizations will be the key elements in community development. This study is set out to explore the fowllowings. “During the process of making temple activities tourism, what are the participating social organizations? What effect do the social organizations have within mutual interactions? “ Making temple activities tourism changes the structures of social organizations, and bring about multiple cultural impulsions, as well as bring different experiences to a closed community. Using Hojin Gan Wei Hui as a case study, it is expected that examining historical and cultural perspectives through interactions of “temple activities” and “social organizations” for the purpose of further understanding the effect of social organizations toward temple activities. First we trace the history of Hojin from a traditional village to a heavily industrialized county, and try to find the meanings of temple activities to Hojin inhabitants. Thereafter, we would explore states of temple activities through evolving era. New temple activities will pose effect on old and new social organizations after such change. This study will observe the portrays and changes of social organizations in Gan Wei Hui through examining roles of official departments, hosts, cooperators, and participants to discover the effect of making temple activities tourism on social organizations. 賴亮郡 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 124 zh-TW
