How does this tendency influence children? Will computer games influence a child'' s computer learning attitude, curiosity, and other factors for the children who play computer games frequently? Does children fear, dislike or other negative attitudes towards computer games during their learning process? Therefore, the main focus and motivation of this research is to examine the different behaviors of playing compu ter games and computer attitudes for the students at elementary school. Based upon the original data from the Literature Review and Survey Questionnaires, this research is to discuss how the school students feel toward the computer and proceeds the analysi s by the statistics. The conclusion is shown as below: 1.The computer-using behavior in playing computer games is varied in genders, grades and regions to the public primary school'' s students. 2.The students'' attitude of using computers is varied based on genders, grades, regions, parent'' s background and parent'' s attitude. 3.The self-motivation for students in using computers is varied in genders, grades, parent'' s background and parent'' s attitude. 4.The students'' attitude of using computers will be more desirable based upon longer usage time and var ied in kinds of computer games. 5.The higher self-motivation for students in using computer, the longer usage time and varied in kinds of computer games. 6.With the positive learning attitude on computers, students are more self-motivation. Despite this research is based on the education background and the attitudes of parents, the further study can include the teachers who have intimate relationship with the students. In this research, the result was found that students at different grades had significant differences on the self-motiva tion in playing computer games. Due to this limitation of sampling targets, this research did not find the differences by grades, which could be another issue to study in the future. The result was also found that there were significant differences on the self-motivation in playing c omputer games according to different regions.
