Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 自然資源與環境管理研究所在職專班 === 93 === This study uses input-output analysis and multiplier analysis to identify inter-industry linkage, energy consumption and CO2 emission characteristics of the iron and steel industry of Taiwan. Also a demand side approached CO2 emission factor research is conducted in correspondent to TPC power generation structure.
Results of this study indicate the high energy consumption and CO2 emission nature of iron and steel industry of Taiwan, growth of energy consumption and CO2 emission of iron and steel industry are relatively high. Results of input-output analysis illustrate that the forward and backward linkage are higher than the average, which means the iron and steel industry is significant in contributing to the upper stream industries as well as downstream industries. Results of multiplier analysis show the improving of energy efficiency of iron and steel industry of Taiwan, CO2 emission factor research suggests that currently CO2 emission of arc furnaces are over calculated that should be downrated by 14~35%.
