Therefore, nonprofit organization is obviously the best solution. Nonprofit organization not only grows up dramatically after 1987, but also faces a lot of problems which are eager to be solved. The research of social capital in recent twenty years becomes an important issue in academic area. The main subject is “why organizations and individuals will have different development in the same environment?” Scholars believed there should be a potential rule among people. The rule helps the organization utilize the resource efficiently. My study of social capital is to know how “Teacher Chang Foundation Taipei Branch” builds their social capital, and how social capital affects them. The study method adopts the literature reviews, case studies and the in-depth interviews. The literatures include the nonprofit, social capital and social capital survey. The interviewers in my report include the members in Teacher Chang, and the units who have ever interacted with Taipei Branch. From the result of study, the bonding social capital comes from professional training and the professional ethical norm, and the bridging social capital comes from the inter-person network and a profession trust. All of them help Teacher Chang to overcome the period of transformation. The study provides five suggestions as follows: 1. Enforce the trust relation 2. Make clear norm to help the cooperation between each other 3. Take good use in mutual aid and reciprocity 4. Foster the cooperation by its profession authority and honor behavior 5.
