The paper analyzes how to increase the environmental responsibility of the producer to improve environmental performance, and discusses two economic incentive models which are PLCEFM (product life cycle emission fee model) and PLCETM (product life cycle emission trading model). The results of the research are obtained as the following: (1) adopting discrimination pricing of final waste disposal can increase environmental friendly designing for firms; (2) if the price of the emission allowance is high enough, it will increase incentive of the green production; (3) if consumers increase their preference of the green product, it can promote firms to design environmentally friendly products; (4) if rental price of abatement and eco-design capital is high enough, then product life cycle emission will have a negative relationship with the price of emission allowance.
