碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 統計學系 === 93 === After collecting data, the statisticians usually need to input data to computer equipment that installed statistical software, and then execute the relevant statistical analysis procedure. Statistical analysis is restricted to time, place, and equipment. Without statistical software, the statisticians cannot do basic statistical analysis. Statistical software is usually very expensive. Usually only academy and enterprise's unit can afford that. Wireless wide-band network and mobile device are popular. In addition, the browser and E-mail are network service that many people use the most on the network at present. They can make the materials instant obtain and exchange. If we can analyze the data immediately, it will be more convenient. The purpose of this research is that to make statistical analysis more convenient and not to be restricted to time, place, and equipment for statisticians who already used to use SAS. They only need to write SAS procedure. Even in the limited place or equipment resource of the computer, they can use the browser or the E-mail to use SAS to execute the SAS codes. It can be electronic and mobilize. For example, while doing the ecological investigation, the research workers collect data in the place without computer equipment and want to know the dependence among the variables. They can use the cell phone to transmit the data and SAS codes and carry on statistical analysis. At present, Mobile Statistical websites established by the host computer that has SAS complete authorization, and combine the J2ME cell phone with PDA function and E-mail to transmit the SAS codes and the host will send the result back. Even if SAS needs upgrading, only need to upgrade the host computer.
