There were four background variables of subjects, for example, whether taking the related course such as environmental education or not, whether participating in green school seminars, position in the school, and the years of service. There were three independent variables of school, eg., size of school, location of school, and whether or not joining in green school program. There were other four dependent variables, eg., life of green school campus,space of green school, instruction of environmental education, and school policy in environmental education. The study was conducted with well- developed questionnaire “the Performance of Green School Program advocated by local educational bureau﹘Tao-Yuan County”. Researcher handed out 352 copies of questionnaire to 176 schools. Then, returning rate was 90.34% (318 copies). Data were analyzed by t-test, one —way AVOVA, ,the Scheffe approach afterward and stepwise multi-regression analysis. Results indicated that : (1) Overview of green school program (GSP): it appeared high level performance in Tao-Yuan elementary schools implementing Green School Program . (2) The effects of Green School Program: it showed highest level performance on the part of campus space, then, teaching in environmental education, school policy on environmental education. The score of the part of Green campus life was least high. (3) There were significant differences on the two background variables , eg., whether or not the teachers taking environmental education and school participating in Green School Program or not.
