In the past, the study of income distribution emphasizes ordinally families in Taiwan, and the study of the fisheries families is less. So this study is to analyze the antiegalitariation of fisheries families income distribution. In the Inshore and Coastal fisheries, because of the difference of fishing methods or the size of fishing boats, it causes the difference of income. Whether the difference of income distribution forms the concentration is the main concern of this study. First making a description of the history of the Inshore and Coastal fisheries families in Taiwan, and knows government in the policy how to improve the fisheries families income. The raw data are sourced from 1999-2003 of fisheries families economic investigation in Taiwan, and analyze Gini ratio to measure the variation of income distribution, and then utilize discriminate analysis and decomposed analysis to analyze the cause of change of income variation. Some conclusions of this study reveal that the income distribution of the Inshore and Coastal fisheries families in Taiwan is concentrated, and the antiegalitariation is caused by the fishery income distribution. In terms of tonnage, the antiegalitariation of the fisheries families income distribution might increase the degree of concentration except powered sampans and 50-100 tons. In terms of fisheries, the antiegalitariation of the fisheries families income distribution is cause by the concentration of the Long Line.
