As we know that developing electronic products and embedded system with a complex kernel will be costly and reduce the profit. For the corporations, reducing linux kernel and when mass-produce without adopting costly components of a system like SDRAM, Flash and etc. will be helpful to reduce the production cost and to get the competitive advantage. These minimized kernels can be used to design different kinds of kernel modules in order to apply to the different kinds of products, as a result, the product’s ability of expansion and application won’t be restricted because of minimizing the size of kernel.
