Designs by Analysis Results of The Potential and Viscous Flow Computations

碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 系統工程暨造船學系 === 93 === In this thesis, computational methods based on different flow assumptions, namely, a boundary element method for the potential flow computations and a RANS code for the viscous flow computations, are used for the flow calculations respectively. Computational...

Computational results of both methods are either compared to each other or verified with the experimental data to understand the rationality and suitable range of these computational methods dealing with different engineering problems. Two methods are then given different roles in the designs and analysis, to ensure reliable analysis results and improved designs. Two examples are demonstrated in this thesis, and they are a high speed train and ducted propellers. For the high speed train case, qualitative analysis is made. Results from two different computational methods are compared to each other to ensure the reliability of computations, and similar trends are found from results of two different computations. The flow analysis and design of a pantograph cover is then presented in the thesis on this basis. Computational results of ducted propellers from two methods are compared to the experimental data, and results show that different methods are applicable in different loading conditions. In this case, “Non-Conformal Mesh” is used and investigated. Finally, results of different blade geometries are studied to explore possibilities the improvement. 辛敬業 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 74 zh-TW
