Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 航運管理學系 === 93 === Abstract From 1990’s decade, democracy in Taiwan started after declaring martial law ended. And it is continually growing today. Because of democratization, the political environment in Taiwan developed to multiple and many politician social type. After the direct election of the chief of Taiwan province, the direct election of the president of R.O.C., declaring the Taiwan province ended, and Ming-Jing political party taking place of Kwou-Ming political party to manage Taiwan, Mr. Chen Shwei-Bian and Mrs. Lu Shiou-Lian were voted to be the president and vice president of Taiwan. It led to the uproar in worldwide. To this day the faithful party members of Kwou-Ming political party couldn’t believe and stand the failure. Kwou-Ming political party unexpectedly couldn’t withstand the democracy upsurge based on the political resources after ruling Taiwan for 50 years. In the meanwhile Mr. Chen got the 39.3% votes. It was not only more than the votes which Mr. Song Chu-Yu got, but also more than the 23.1% votes which Mr. Lien Tzung got. It was not only the biggest failure of Kwou-Ming party, but also the democracy century really coming in Taiwan. In the period of 2004’s Taiwan president election, Blue parties seemed to be successfully integrated. Actually, the advocate rate of survey which Blue parties got was from proximate 50% down to lose the election. And it was ended in 319 assassination event. Mr. Chen Shwei-Bian successfully renewed his term of president. Maybe the advocates of Blue parties still can’t accept the truth of ”319 event”. They continuously request our government to research into the cause of this event, and to declare the truth. However, did “319 event” really lead to the failure of Blue Parties? Or the Blue Parties which keeps many excellent persons didn’t have the sufficient capability of handling risky exception. Why can Ming-Jing political party with rare resources always win so important elections for past years? People were disappointed at government’s incompetence gradually following economic decline and unemployed rate increasing in Taiwan. Why did people still spend money on the meal party of Ming-Jing political party’s recruiting funds? We can’t sure whether there were some problems behind ”319 event” which led to the advocates of Blue Parties decreasing day after day. If Blue parties will find out the reasons of failure, it will be helpful to sit still with a peaceful mind and to protest against governmental policy. In this thesis, I’ll research into the causes of Blue Parties’ failure based on strategy management procedure, event study and SWOT analysis. And I’ll provide the research results to Blue Parties for reference to think over the strategy for further elections and 2008 president election.
