Trend has been changed very soon. The Classic of Documents said " Sap one's ambition by seeking pleasure ." It's words reflect the value of changeability in pop culture. With a comeback popularity in Hong Kong and Japan, figure has changed from kids’ toy dolls into adults’ collections, and also become a representative in pop culture. There are wide application of figure designs in our daily lives, such as comics books, cartoon characters, internet Flash , mascots, figures of famous politicians and stars, promotion products for animated movies. Figure designs attract numerous artists’ participation and also lead to a trend featuring in its individualization and uniqueness. Due to rising attentions on cultural creativity in the tourist industry, this study hopes to combine figure designs with tourist industry. According to the surveys of some well-sold figure products, the findings in the study are:(1) The models are developed from simple geometric designs and lines.(2) The cute figure dressed with accessories are within the framework of big heads, short legs, and long arms.(3) The designs focus on facial features which personalized the figure. (4) The color used is based on bright and soft pink series. With the above principles, a series of figure named “ Tai Ke Xing” are designed to promote the value of originality in local culture.
