Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 環境生態研究所碩士班 === 93 === Poly-3-methylthiophene was electropolymerized on LiCoO2 containing two kind of electric conduction carbon materials as positive electrode material for lithium ion battery. The conditions of electropolymerization poly-3-methylthiophene were be controlled by current and time. These electrode materials were investigated by cyclic voltammetry, rate capability test, alternating-current impedance test, cycle life test, DSC test, SEM photography. The experimental results show that the conductive polymer modified electrode material using 0.1 mA galvanostatic at 5 min can be obtained the obvious promotion on cycle voltammetry, rate capability, impedance, cycle life properties. In addition, the heat stability would also improved by the conductive polymers modified electrode materials using by different electropolymerization conditions. The thermal decomposition temperature can be enhanced ca. 10 to 20 oC by the poly-3-methylthiophene modification. SEM morphologies show that the electrode materials surface modified by difference electropolymerization conditions can be observed large different.
